Q.Why do I receive a text notification message on my phone instead of receiving the picture message itself?
A.You can only receive picture, video or long text messages if you have a picture messaging phone. To upgrade to a picture messaging phone call customer care, go to your local Vodafone store or have a look at our retail shop on line at http://www.vodafone.co.uk. If you do have a picture messaging phone, and still cannot send or receive picture messages then you’re phone is not set up correctly for the service, to resolve this you can: 1) Call customer care on 191 or 08700 700 191 2) Visit your nearest Vodafone retail store 3) Go to www.vodafone.co.uk, click on ‘Services’ then ‘Messaging’ and finally ‘Picture messaging’. Select the ‘Technical’ tab and click on ‘Configure your Vodafone live! phone to be able to send a picture’. This will give you the directions you need to follow to give your phone the correct picture message settings required to send and receive picture and video messages.
Q.How can I go and read my picture message?
A.Go to the web address contained in the text message from Vodafone informing you that you have a new picture message. Use the password contained within this text, along with your mobile number, to log into your private picture messaging account.
Q.If I have lost my password what should I do?
A.Go to the web address contained in the text message from Vodafone (www.vodafone.co.uk/getmyphoto) informing you that you have a new picture message. Click on the http://getmyphoto.vodafone.co.uk link, taking you to the Get my photo log in page. Underneath the password field is a further link: ‘If you don't know your password, click here to retrieve current password.’ Click on this link, fill in your mobile phone details and submit the request. You will receive your password details in a text notification delivered to your phone.
Q.Does it cost me anything to view my pictures online?
A.No it is free of charge; you can go and look at your pictures as many times as you want!
Q.Can I reply to, or forward, messages sent to me?
A.For every message that you receive online we will give you one free message! You can use this message to reply to the sender, or forward your message onto somebody else, just use the relevant reply or forward button. Remember to use the free message within 30 days otherwise it will be automatically deleted. You can build up your free messages to use at a later date, or to send messages to multiple recipients, so for example after receiving five messages you may have built up five free picture messages to use as you wish.
Q.What happens if my free ‘reply’ message is deleted and I haven’t used it?
A.For each Multi Media Message (picture or video message) that you receive in ‘Get My Photo’, you will be given one free MMS credit which can be used to forward or reply to a message. This free message may be deleted for one of two reasons: 1) The free MMS will be deleted if you delete the original MMS from your inbox. 2) The free MMS will expire if not used after thirty days, if the message has not been used within the 30 day period it will automatically be deleted.
Q.Is there a maximum number of recipients I can forward a message to at once?

Q.How do I set up MMS Easy Reply?
A.You don’t need to set anything up. Anyone (whether or not they’re a Vodafone customer) with an email address can receive picture or video messages from a Vodafone customer. Similarly, anyone can use the free picture or video message reply contained in the received message – as long as they reply within three days of receiving the message.
Q.What is MMS Easy Reply?
A.MMS Easy Reply lets you reply to a picture or video message from your email address with your own long text picture or video message. You can send one free reply for each picture or video message you receive as an email from a Vodafone customer. You cannot, however, reply with a text or attachment greater than 295kb. Please note, the free reply expires three days after the original message is sent from the Vodafone network.
Q.How big is 295kb and what happens if my picture or video is larger?
A.If you are sending a picture taken on a standard camera phone, you are unlikely to exceed 295kb. You should also be able to send videos up to about 12 seconds long. If your picture or video is larger than 295kb, it will be automatically stripped out of the message. The message will still be sent, but only text will be displayed.
Q.How much does the Easy Reply cost?
A.Easy Reply is free to use. You can send one free reply for each picture or video message you receive as an email from a Vodafone customer. You cannot, however, reply with a text or attachment greater than 295kb. Please note, the free reply expires three days after the original message is sent from the Vodafone network.
Q.How do I use the standard free reply?
A.To send a text-only reply to a picture or video message in your email’s inbox, simply reply to it as if you were replying to any email. To send a free picture or video reply, click on the visit our online composer link in the body of the email.
Q.I sent an Easy Reply but it was treated as spam.
A.There’s a possibility that some email providers may treat Easy Reply MMSs as "spam" (unsolicited email from an unknown/unwanted user). This is because their spam detection programs might be set-up to reject emails from a number (rather than a name), or emails containing HTML. If you believe this is happening, you (or a recipient) may need to change the set-up of the spam detection program, so that it accepts the Vodafone domain (mms.vodafone.co.uk). Speak to your email provider for more information on dealing with spam.
